ELC & Educators Program

The Worm Shed's Educators program is specially designed for educators in ELCs, schools, and OSHC, to learn how to set up and maintain a worm farm on campus. We provide everything you will need to get started, and we can also reset existing worm farms if they need some TLC.

Our staff will guide your staff through the process, teaching you how to keep your worm farm healthy and running efficiently long term. Use the knowledge you take from this program to teach your students how to help you to care for the worms.

What are the benefits of having a worm farm in your school or centre?

  • Recycle organic waste.
  • Produce organic fertiliser (worm castings and liquid leachate).
  • Keep sustainability practices running long-term and pass your knowledge onto the younger generations to continue caring for their environment.
